Aberash Werdofa
ECE Student

Welcome!

My name is Aberash Werdofa, and I am a fourth-semester Early Childhood Education (ECE) student at Conestoga College. I chose this field because I am passionate about giving back to the community that played a vital role in my child’s early years of development. I am deeply grateful for that support, and I am committed to helping children, families, and caregivers by creating meaningful learning experiences.

Throughout my field placements and four-semester journey, I have gained valuable knowledge on different approaches and strategies in early childhood education. I have learned how to nurture children’s abilities, support their independence, and encourage self-regulation, helping them grow into confident learners. This experience has also influenced my role as a mother of three, allowing me to better understand and learn alongside my own children.

I am eager to bring my educational experiences into practice, working directly with children to foster their curiosity, learning, and development. By collaborating with colleagues, seeking guidance, and reflecting on my experiences, I continue to grow as an educator.

I look forward to making a positive impact in the field of Early Childhood Education!
